new article PEOPLE...and for those saying ring 2 won't be as scary as the original, i wouldn't place your bets just yet. the original director of the ORIGINAL japenese films, hideo nakata is taking the directors seat for this one

as for fear....i was WAY looking forward to it anyhow and reading that article and listening to the music on the website on loop for about 10 minutes has just stuck it up a couple of notches

the trailer looks so-so

some of the animations looked off, the gun sounds weren't that great, and the player motions looked kind of odd

This reminds me of an anime called Elfin Lied. I haven't watched too many episodes, but I think the basic idea is that there's this girl with extreme mental powers that kills people because she can. (synonymous with the terms 'gratuitous violence and gore')

Im kinda not impressed by the gameplay as of right now. The graphics look pretty cool and I like that its brutal. I just don't get that WOW! factor. Looks promising though.
