New FarCry videos!

It's a new level for the far cry demo that is in the pc gamer disk that this guy put on some mirrors. It's really really cool.
 
hmm i have pc gamer...but i didnt get that disc! mayb ill get it tomorrow

You start off on an island where you must go into a cave and some research facility built into the ground. The outside is heavily guarded by mercs and there are many ways to finish the objective. The mercs have a chopper in this level (blackhawk) that they can call in to find you and kill you.

In the demo I was very impressed because I sniped some guys then ran away and looked back from my hiding spot with my binoculars and saw them investigating the spot where the rifle flashes came from. They swam to get there, very cool.

Argg... I must find this extra level. I have had a blast with the regular one...but now I've kinda explored and played that one to death...

EDIT: Errr... Derp.. don't mind me.. I didn't read the first post once I revisited this thread.. :dork:
 
Are you in the demo or need help setting it up?

If ur in the demo then you need to get into the cave but you need the keycard first. TIP: YOU HAVE A SNIPER RIFLE, USE IT WISELY IF YOU DO USE IT!!!
 
i went up the elvator and wen thru the door and the game exited out
 
A new demo?! Sweet! Maybe this one will run better! :hmph:

Edit: Well shit... I'm not downloading the WHOLE THING again... I thought it was a completely new thing... piss.
 
Hehe, the new demo you speak of has been out for months.... unless im missing something here?
 
Yeah u are missing something man, this is brand new, I've never seen or heard of it until just yesterday, I confirmed it today. You don't have to DL the whole demo it's just a 40 mb level pack IF you already have the first demo that is. You take the two folders and put them in the far cry directory and when it asks to replace you hit yes. Then you start the game in devmode (add -DEVMODE to the command line) and choose research.

When it comes out on PC gamer cd it will be a new thing like the fort one.
 
Well trust me this level is worth installing it again for.
