all in all, i've noticed very little that can be picked at. In the third screen, the blue line on the front bumper is sharp and then turns jagged...

and the ground textures are a bit low res in the first pic...

but if you think about it, all of the road and trees are going to be zooming by, so there's no real need for detail there. A small bit about the bumper isn't really going to matter much either because chances are, you'll run that pat of the bumper into the wall and end up scratching it off... :p

edit: oh, and the character model inside the car looks like a placeholder....

ewwww low resolution ground texture lol. cars looks hawt

600+ cars?
i hope my Corrado is in this one again :p

I'm getting rather tired of high-res car shots :| how about some shots of several cars or environments?

The angle makes me feel like I'm gonna fall over.

Looks nice, but I can still never remember the difference between this, Gran Turismo and PGR.

Can't wait to play this, but until then Gran Turismo 4 and GTR2 using my Logitech G25 will have to do. God I love racing games.:)

Can't wait either. Currently re-living GT4 on the PS2, albeit without a wheel, and also PGR3, for which i have the microsoft wireless wheel. This should be another thing altogether though, PGR3 is really an arcade game and fairly forgiving when it comes to driving style, but this should take some real skill.

:)

Have you tried any SimBin games 3ssence? Such as GTR/GTR2/GTL/RACE(which is even on Steam)
They are excellent if you're into racing games

I think they're only for PC though :\

rFactor and GTR2 are my fav 'modern' racing games, aside from those, I love Grand Prix Legends and Grand Prix 4(With mods)

I have the demos of both GTR2 and Race on my PC at the moment. I never decided to buy them, very good simulations though they are. I prefer GT4/ Forza style sims as opposed to a simulation purely focused on touring cars, or GT racing, etc.

I can't get into the realistic type of racing. I play video games to get OUT of reality :p That and I suck at em. I always crash. I like racing games like Burnout. :D

Lol. I love driving, and seeing as i can't afford a decent car whilst living in London, nor explore the extremities of their handling if i did anyway (not in central london !) then for the time being games such as GT4, Forza 2 go a little way to satisfying that thirst.

:)

I enjoy less realistic driving games though, i played NFSMW and NFS Carbon fairly extensively and i have to admit i enjoyed a number of the burnout series thoroughly !

:D

I HAD the first game, but once I modded my X-Box, it refused to cooperate... BUT I did get Midnight Club II recently... God that game is old, But I would really like to play Forza 2!

There's nothing quite like Grand Prix Legends. I must reinstall it.

I seem to remember that Jackie Stewart said it was harder than the real thing. :D
