New games coming out

alright, im sure that this has been asked before, but i just got a new computer and i wanted to get into some new games, so i wanted some help finding alternatives for HL2 i guess you could say. mainly FPS, but im mainly wanting to get into any kind of game that you all think looks cool, i know about STALKER (which looks really cool) and Call of Duty is great, but anyone else know of some really cool games coming out for the PC? thanks.

some people are interested in Stalker. myself, I think it looks good, but will be a stupid game....stupid primise, dumb idea for the game IMHO...

Doom3...I'm expecting MAJOR sales...and the game to die, VERY quickly afterwards. unless of course, the mod teams get ahold of it. (But look at Unreal2...looked good, but was abad game)

STALKER looks like a kickass game, but I probably won't buy it, as it's going to be released around Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow (I think), which has multiplayer. Plus HL2 may be out around then as well, and Doom 3 is going to come out around that time as well if I can remember correctly.
