New graphics card

My Radeon 9800 Pro should be arriving quite soon, i've seriousily been waiting for this day ever since this card was introduced and costed a fortune. ($400.00)
Right now I have a Radeon 7000 with some 4.something Catalysts, I won't have to reformat or anything like it is a new processor/motherboard will I? I won't have to use DriverCleaner software either right?

You should be able to go to start/settings/control panel/remove programs and get rid of the ATI drivers and install the newest drivers.

If you have issues then use DriverCleaner software and reinstall your drivers. Don't bother with the drivers on the CD, by the way.

You'll enjoy the card. Should play HL2 through with your 9800pro since it will be in DX9.
