new hammer + editing tools

Hey can anyone tell me if the new hammer / editing tools are any easier than the older versions. Have never been into making cs maps but i just remeber that last time i tried i cbf. If its been simplified or if its really easy to pickup then id prolly give it another go.

I cant tell you what they are like compared to the older tools, because i never tried those, but compared to Ued or D3Radiant, Hammer is pretty easy. Certainly no harder than either of those.
