New hl2/mapping site

Basically, my website is becoming more focused on game design, specifically in the Source 3D engine area.

My hope is for the forums to become more populated, and to get a stong mapping/modelling/art/gaming community developed. partly because snarkpit is so enormous, and slightly because interlopers is so corrupted by young'ns. Not to say both aren't amazing sites.

The site began as a technology blog site, with almost no content, save screenshots of Jedi Knight II. Its evolved over the 3 years ive had it, and is now quite advanced in the area of web design. Since I am completely happy with the current state of being layout wise, I can now show the community.

The content will mainly consist of community tutorials, articles, or whatever. The main page, of course, is a blog of news. What is posted here will depend on the evolution of the community. Basically, I want it to be a community site, where the users decide what goes up or comes down.

True, but being the owner, I can warn/ban/delete comments/users/etc. thus, making the problem less of a nuiscence to myself.
 
Why even bother making a site, just go back into your hole and hope for an A-bomb :) :) :) :) :)
 
Because I can, and I have. If it so happens that you dont like it, or you don't care, or you think I'm wasting my time, well, if you even think at all, then simply read and be an ass on other threads.
