Just because it's EA is no reason to not buy a quality game. Unless you are outright protesting which wont really accomplish anything, but if it's simply for the principle go ahead and miss one of the coolest games of 05

Also EA has a great history of support for the BF games, they have released several patches to both the software and the developement kits. Also BF2 appears to have a far more advanced editor then we have seen before with BF games. http://www.eagames.com/official/battlefield/battlefield2/us/editorial.jsp?src=communityupdate_022505 EA has also hired a staff just to support and aid the mod community and continue to update the powerful editing tools included with BF2. My exitment for BF2 is through the roof :dork:
But in general no, I am not a big fan of EA
