New laptop!!!

I finally got my new Dell Inspiron 1520 yesterday after waiting for more than 3 weeks. the design is really nice and it can play games flawlessly at 1440X900 resolution. dvds look very clear, near hd quality. im gonna try running bioshock on it later

Screen - 15.4" with 1440 x 900 resolution
Drive - CD-rw/dvd (i dun intend to burn cuz i got 2 external hdds)

yeah, this laptop is awesome. im gonna install a tv-tuner later so that i can watch tv in my dorm.

I got myself a Compal IF90 about a month ago for 1400e. Pretty much same specs as yours. The 8600GT is a really good graphics card, runs Bioshock on high very smoothly.

One minor problem is it won't resume from sleep mode with Vista Ultimate, forcing me to restart every time. Other than that, it's good for most tasks; gaming, movies, school etc.
