Has anyone had experience with either or preferably both of these keyboards? I am going to be getting one for Christmas, and I want to figure out which would be a better choice (price not being an issue). Also, if anyone has any other suggestions for a top of the line gaming keyboard, feel free to chime in. Thanks.

new g15 has less macro keys, orange lighting, stationary lcd screen unlike the old one that can be folded down. other then there arent many features that i know of.

i own the old g15 and its great.

Yeah, I know what both keyboards have or don't have compared to each other, but I'm just wondering what people think about one over the other.

well honestly there are only a handful who would actually spend the money to have both. there might be a review comparing both around the internet.

Yup, I've been reading up on a few of them. Was worth a shot to try and get a few opinions from here though. I've had my current basic HP keyboard for about 5 years now, and if I'm going to be using my new one for that long or longer, I want to make the best decision I can.

IMO the 2 biggest differences will be the color and size. Want a smaller keyboard? Preferense between Orange and Blue lights on your desk? :p

Heh, check this one out:

I'm happy with my old G15 danke.

Plus the metal key caps would be ice cold in winter.
