New MGS3: Subsistence trailer and info

Perhaps the most hotly anticipated portion of the game will be the new online multiplayer modes. Eight players can participate in the game's five modes: deathmatch, team deathmatch, sneaking mission, capture mission, and rescue mission. Online play will take place in stages from Snake Eater and in new, original levels, such as "Small Forest," "Downtown," and "Abolition Factory."

In sneaking mission, one player (as Snake) will attempt to steal an object guarded by the others, while capture mission pits two even teams against each other to capture the object. Rescue mission adds a further twist by requiring one team to deliver the object to a certain location while the opposing team attempts to destroy it.

those screens are heavily Anti aliased, doubt it'll look that jag-free on the ps2, sounds awesome, the trailer was great, the cardboard box bit in particular, i wish it'd come to pc, its ideal for online, dunno if i'll get it as the online seems the big draw and my ps2 isnt hooked up for net play...

This finally gives me a reason to get that network adapter for the PS2.

Also, I too hope this comes out on the PC, along with a spectator mode, that could lay the ground for some hilarious machinima.

I like how Hideo Kojima doesn’t take his games 100% serious, he always put goofy stuffs into them. :E

Just... don't go to the Gamespot forums for this.
They rape you for owning another system then PS2.
