I like the idea of a Starship Troopers mod!
I also like the idea of a Starship Troopers FPS. No offense, but games are usually longer and everything than mods. There are a few out there longer and better, but usually there's no competition. Good idea, if you finish it, I'll download!
Now I've got a new game to obsess about after HL2!

Seriously, do you know anything about the making of games? If not, then good luck, you will fail if not by copyright issue's then by lack of experience or speaking english.

Harsh, but true. I could maybe help, if you're serious and are willing to stick with this. I've been parts of many mods that didn't make it past planning. I could work with story design and/or concept design. Like I said before, if you're not sure that this will be completed, I either won't help, or I won't work really hard.

I am not talking about STEALING models, I am talking about the use of names and designs from starship troopers. these things are copyrighted and can get you in to trouble if you use them (at best the owners of these names could force your mod to be stopped or take legal action against you, but the last would be highly unlikely unless they have sand in their vagina's)

Don't worry, Dassbaba, it just makes the good mods stand out all the better. Think of a white dot (a good mod) on a grey background (lots of average ones) as opposed to the aforementioned white dot on a black (poorly-executed mods) background. It's alot easier to see the dot on the second. Unless you choose to use the 'needle in a haystack' analogy, but that's a depressing analogy.
