Instead of valve changing the CT model every 2 months they could have had 3 different ones for people to choose from. All we'd be missing then is the gasmask dude.

Valve has changed the player model (I think just the CT one) a couple times. In the original Counter-Strike, each team had several models to choose from.

It's rediculous that they update the graphics/models/etc, but reduce each team to just one model.

well i think the best way to do it would be have different CT models, but different for each map. it seemed kinda weird in the original counter-strike having german police fight with us navy seals, and french/british guys with gas masks.

terrorrists on the other hand should be diverse and blended, like the old cs. especially since terrorrists don't normally wear uniforms...

It should be different skins for each team according to the amp you play, that way there is always varity.

Not really, A single terrorist unit wont be dressed up as arabs/jungle/artic dudes ect, there would be some consistancy if they dont have a full uniform (I'm sure they actually would unless they don't want to be picked out). Sure theres no worldwide terrorist uniform, but theres no standard militry uniform either.

I wouldn't mind multiple costumes but I don't mind only 1 either, it makes picking friends and foe easier without it being overly obvious (neither stands out at distance in darkl places for instance). If they do add more I would really hope their is continuety between models, CS1.6's T models have nothing in common with eachother and it looks a little rediculous. If they do what they do with the CT models nowdays where they look the same generally but have some differences, then I think thats a step in the right direction and wouldn't have an impact on the gameplay.
