They're both 24 inches. The Viewsonic has HDMI as well as the standard ports and the Samsung does not have HDMI.
The Viewsonic also has speakers and the Samsung does not.
Here's the Samsung: 2433BW
Here's the Viewsonic: VX2433wm
They're both about the same price. I can get the Samsung for 188$ and then the Viewsonic for 170$.
Another big thing is the resolution. Where as the VS has a 1920x1080, the Sam has a 1920x1200. I would like the bigger resolution, but I really don't know or think it will be necessary. The speakers are good, but I don't think I'll need them.
Here's my situation: I'm moving into my apartment at school, and I'm going to have my desktop and Xbox 360 connected to it. I'll more than likely use my speakers I have now for sound for the computer, and I'm pretty sure I'll be able to connect my 360 to it as well. They're T6200's I'm pretty sure or something of that sort. They're Creative P5800's.
Anyway, I would appreciate any help you can lend me.
I'm leaning more towards the Viewsonic at the moment because like I said the resolution isn't necessary and the speakers would probably be decent enough. I don't know!
Thanks in advance!
