New patch?

Anyone else gettin an update for css?.

whatever it is it must be huge, im going at 1.0mb/sec and it says i got 50 minutes left

what if this is the patch that is uninstalling the game because the beta is over? :O

When was the last time you restarted Steam? Most of us had a 400mb update a while back.

When the beta ends I would expect the cs:s data to remain, since many of us have preloaded, and cs:s was part of that preload; it wouldn't make sense to uninstall it.

If anything I would imagine they will just lock the beta out and the shop will open....which might be whats happening..

I started steam while writing this and all it's done is validate some data (apparently). No changes and the beta ain't locked. So......I've got no idea what's going on

It might be the CS:S version 1 preload that you either received in the last CS:S update or in the last HL2 preload update.

The preloads have had a tendancy to get stuck, and then restart mysteriously.
