So I'm finally thinking to act on the long awaited dream once more.
I already have a monitor, speakers, KB/mouse. Is there anything else I need or any problem with these parts? Is the PSU ok/overkill/not enough?

I highly recommend not getting the AMD 770 chipset. The 790 is worth getting.

I can recommend this PSU

Gold certified, 20% off. That's less than I paid.

But on the less expensive side, I'd go with a SeaSonic or Corsair Bronze certified. Antec seems to be reliable, but probably not ballsy.

I'm not sure about any others, but I also like that the SeaSonic is a pull system instead of push. If the component doesn't ask for it, it doesn't get the power. Maybe that keeps things from getting too much power and also from failed components catching on fire or exploding.

Ok, it says it doesn't support the DDR3 1600 memory I was planning on but someone said
"detected and ran my GSkill RipJaw DDR3-1600 ram by only changing the memory setting to 1600mhz and restarting."

I'm guessing that's something in the bios?

"Memory Standard
DDR3 2000(O.C.)/1333/1066"
?

I have the same ram that you're getting, and it works in my M4A79 deluxe, which is the same board with a different chipset.

ok, didn't see a /1600 there so it sounded like it wasn't supported.
