Well, all seems to look fine, shouldn't have any trouble there.

Yeh good choice of hardware, good luck and have fun building it! :D

Very nice, might I ask where you're buying from?

overclockers.co.uk

Awsome, might have to get around to ordering asap :D

Cool, but dont forget eBuyer.co.uk!

80mm fans for 50p! Headsets for £1.99!

(I am promoting eBuyer for no good reason except they are cheap and I like them)

Oh, and dont forget some screws to prevent fallapart (a technical term).

Might want to get a bigger power supply..... graphics cards like to eat them up thease days...

The PSU he has listed has good solid line signal and has 2x 12+V lines @ 15AMPs and 16AMPs.
I'd think that would be good enough. ;)

My 24pin PSU has a big 20pin adapter on it to convert it to the old standard. This one has the 24pin cable split into 20pin and 4pin ends which is a pretty slick solution.

As someone who deals with eBuyer for work.. I'd say DON'T buy from them.. their custom support is shite. Nothing to do with the fact that they just sent us 160 Ethernet cards instead of 56k modems.. and their excuse was 'Well the box is the same colour'

Pathetic.

make sure that mobo is AGP, if that's what your gfx card is- silly point, but hey~

Or, even better, if you want the system to be upgradeable in the future, get a pci-e mobo and a pci-e version of the 6800GT. That's just my opinion, because the price difference should be minimal and will be upgradeable in the future, seeing as they seem to be beginning to discontinue agp graphics cards (although ati might release and agp version of their new card).

Thats insane, you wonder how they could of managed that. Just out of interest, what did you need 160 56k modems for, do you work for an it/network solutions firm?
