So I finally got around to reading the new issue of EGM magazine (that I got for free for a year). They were talking about how great 2007 is and showed off HL2: Orange Edition. They also said there will be some Silver version too. Well there is 2 new pics in there I think. Also they had a short interview with Doug:

I'm not going to lie to you and tell you there are a million reasons to go back and play HL2 again.

Even if you don't consider HL2 as part of this package, there's still 20-plus hours of single-player content here, plus really first class multiplayer.

It isn't really an interview , just a paragraph on the game. The pic of Ep2 however is new. The vorti. looks tall and bulker in a weird way. It's you , Alyx and a vorti together and in the background there's a bridge with combine forces moving.

And the 20 hours of gameplay sounds promising. Episode 2 sounds to be a lot longer then Episode 1 - even assuming that he means 10 hours of Portal plus 10 hours of Episode 2.

In previous interviews , they said Ep2 is going to be a little bit longer than the first one. Something near 7 hrs. I don't think it's gonna be much longer and that's not a problem for me. The non-linear gameplay they are trying will add to it and the replay value.

Well as I said in the PM, Alyx does not go unconscious and does not fall after the train ride. So it's something else that happens to her... The vort also a really freakish neck in that pic. Also we find out 2Fort in tf2 will take place in a coal mine. *My guess is that in the big Ep2 trailer when that vort says "our cause is hopeless" Alyx was standing next to you at that time. :O **Also the Dog vs Strider part you will probably be with Alyx too. My idea is that Dog escorts you to the nearest rebel camp but you guys get attacked along the way. Dog is never far behind Alyx. ***Yeah I think Alyx got hit in the head and just got knocked out. The G-Man though it looks like went into her head and has her under his control mentally now...

Dude at the top of this page, a moderator posted. I mean, I love a positive attitude (not really ) but there's a line between optimistic and foolhardy. That picture won't be up for a few days with Samon watching. It'll be up for a few minutes.

He was talking about the Orange package wasn't he? If thats the case ep1+ep2+portal = 20 gameplay hours. Deduct 5 hours for ep1 [average time according to valve], 3 hours for portal and that would leave ep2 at.. 12 hours? Hmmm...

Ep1 is 2-3 hours. Not 5.

Portal is maybe also about 3 hours but it will take more time for me because I'll be just having fun with Portal Gun

Ep2 should be something to 10 hours, I don't want to have the same feeling that was with Ep1 (noo this can't end yet).
