Hey. This is my first sensible welcome in a long while, and loath as I am to forgo some sort of inane rant, I will make the best of it. Welcome to HL2.net which, while not necessarily or conclusively the best HL2 fansite, is pretty damn good. There are a lot of nice, intelligent people here, and although there are a lot of idiots, we have a surprisingly good ratio compared to the rest of the internet.
Some notes: if you plan on going in the HL2-themed forums (such as rumours and speculation) and making a thread, be sure to search to see if anyone has already made a thread on the topic. Secondly, whatever you do, don't dredge up old threads unless you have a really valid point to make (in which case perhaps a few less people will moan at you). Thirdly, don't take anything seriously...
EAT SHIT AND DIE.
Finally, never, EVER mention the Munro Incident, Shens, Princess Jen or The Arena. Some of these things are quite touchy subjects.
