Why does this forum always say there is a new post whenever I post something? It should know that I am the one who posted it and should not mark it that I haven't read it. Quite annoying and I know this doesn't happen all over cause our phpbb doesn't do this...possibly a setting to fix this?

Yeah, the bugs been there ever since they updated the forum version a few days/ a week ago. Imo it should be fixed, since it's very annoying

Yep its just the new version of Vbulliten I think. It also broke the /me command and causes attachments to be opened in the same window.
