New Replies Don't Show as Unread

When I browse the forums, I've been noticing lately that forums and threads that have new replies aren't marked as unread. I know other people have experienced this problem and I have tried refreshing my cookies (I am not sure how vBulletin tracks it). I know it's a small bug, but it's been making me miss posts. Has anyone looked into this issue?

I agree! It's really annoying when I don't know accurately what posts have been made.

its the opposite for me,every single sub-forum and topic lights up as unread,even if I just read the topic

What I hate is looking at the topic for the first time, and it goes to like the last post in the thread - why?

Hmm, usually it's because it goes to where you last looked or posted, not sure if you haven't seen it though.

Yeah, non of the read/unread symbols have ever worked right for me. It's the symbols next to threads and the ones next to sections; ATM there's topics and threads I've never even been in that say read D:
