A new version of the Objective-based TeamDM map "Revolters" is available!

"Revolters 1.2 - Double pack"

Always listening to the community wishing more objective maps, I decided to release a double pack. That means 2 slightly different versions of "Revolters" with different objectives for each, different atmospheres and different soundtracks! On top of that, this new release features changes requested by YOU, dear players and admins! Let's check this out:

==========
The Objectives
==========

--------------------
Revolters version A (rainy sunrise):
--------------------
-Combine objectives:
1- Reach and unlock the Precinct 15 sector door to gain access to the Rebels area.
2- Blowup the Rebel weapons truck hidden behind the Rebel HQ.
3- Defend your base

-Rebels objectives:
1- Destroy the Combine generators.
2- Defend your truck

-------------------
Revolters version B (cloudy afternoon):
-------------------
-Combine objectives:
1- Reach and unlock the Precinct 15 sector door to gain access to the Rebels area.
2- Destroy the Control Room inside the HQ to destroy the whole base.
3- Keep an eye on Alyx at your base.

-Rebels objectives:
1- Bring back Alyx, held captive in the Combine base. Teleport her to Kleiner's lab.
2- Defend your base.

We had a lot of fun last night! Hehe, damn car blocking the sector door.
How about the barricades, sponsored by Ikea... some people know how to pile-up 6 pieces of furniture in a hallway...

So much fun!

News posted on most of the major great web site, like halflife2.net! :)

"Hey, make sure you look around corners in Revolters..."

I'm more often on the HL2files.com servers #1 and #2.

Any suggestions for future updates?

I'd say to leave them maps now, you've made plenty of changes, and work on a new thing, im sure you're sick of those now :) You've got 2 quality maps, when you fiddle too much they turn bad. You could even use your skills for one of the mods around atm, your mapping would be useful to many. Or another completly different map. Take your time tho, no need to rush, you've done plenty of work for the last month.

p.s. You got your front page news article on the site, happy!?!?! hehe :D

Glenn: don't want to go to something else without having solid maps in circulation. And no, I'm not sick of my maps! :)

I might actually remove the turrets until we are given player1 and player2 types of entities. For now everyone is "player".

Me wonder if Valve ever though about us wishin to create team-based content for their game other than for counter-strike? hehe
