Though I just posted this in the HL2 forum, there isn't really a specific forum for it, so I thought it should appear here too (sorry mods):

Sin is getting an episodic sequel based opn the Source engine, dist. thru Steam! Get the latest PC Gamer UK to find out more .... (since I haven't got time to write loads atm)

haha, I guess Ritual took the stance "If you can't beat 'em, join them!". Ritual shouldn't have any of VALVe's products to compete with this time around though so hopefully they'll sell a few more copies!

In the magazine it says they went for source and steam distribution because they have had difficulty finding a producer who lets them have the control they want.

Steam gave them this. :)

I'm actually quite looking forward to this,

Rememember the orgininal? Remember Elexis Sinclair? Crappest. Character design. Ever.

That's quite cool! The original Sin was meant to be a contender for HL, now by the power of Greyskull, they shall work together!

what was Sin all about? i never picked it up.

It was stopping drug dealers or somthing, then it turned into genetically modified things (a la Far Cry) then it ended.

That is all I can remember!

I only had a p120 back then, so I didn't play it. I remember playing the demo though. It was the one where you were in a helicopter manning the gun for a part of it, right?

my guess is that its gunna be really gorey and violent!! seeing as no one will give them 'freedom'
steam is the best choice seeing as when the millions of gamers switch on steam and see 'sin 2' their gunna get their credit cards out and click it out of curiosity. larger audience.

Sin was really good, remember playing the demo back in the day.

I just played the demo again and it hasn't stood the test of time like HL1 has, believe me.
