New SSBB characters to be anounced soon!! :D

Nintendo will be revealing new characters from Super Smash Bros Brawl on the Wii very soon!
The characters will be revealed in a video from Nintendo World 2006 in Japan.

No idea what the characters will be, but I'd love to see Sonic in there. Conker from Conkers: Bad Fur Day? Banjo/Kazooie from Banjo Kazooie? (I know Conker and Banjo/Kazooie are part of Rare, who are owned by Microsoft so I doubt we'll see them. But I can dream )

The show is held between the 25-26 of November apparently. So we should expect to see the video around then I guess. Cant wait

Remember that all characters have to be a major character in at least one game on a Nintendo console.

Sonic is almost certain, Bomberman would be cool, too. Possibly a Capcom character, too (likely Viewtiful Joe)
However, a few more enemies, such as the best enemy ever: Ridley should be in there. Some people from the next Fire Emblem will be there, Pikmin will probably make an appearance as an item.

Cell Shaded Link (with totally different moves to Adult Link) would be fantastic.

Also, there will probably be something from Namco in there (Soul Calibur 2 with Link), probably a Pac-Man item.

Lastly some "special" skins (with altered models, not just colour changes) would be ace. (possibly even graphically altered moves)

Luigi - Waluigi (doesn't deserve his own place)
Sonic - Shadow
Viewtiful Joe - Captain Blue
Snake - Liquid Snake
Mario - Dr Mario
Yoshi - Birdo
Fox - Krystal
Captain Falcon - Blood Falcon
Peach - Daisy (already done in Melee)

Items and Skins would be a great way of including more stuff, without annoying people because of "clones" (as they aren't "advertised" as different characters)

Dude, i hate consoles with a passion. Damnation to the paddle, but Smash Bros is the single reason I bought a Game Cube.

Way more than 2 buttons and there are combos, items, etc.

they could use other nintendo parters like sega...

which of course, opens up sonic, knuckles, tails, etc.

They already got Solid Snake...

Damnit, valve needs to partner with them and liscence out gordon...that would be...lame.

With Pit in there, they should do more obscure oldschool. I'd like to see Bub and/or Bob make an appearance (from Bubble Bobble). It'd be great if they were able to get Simon Belmont from Castlevania, since Konami's already letting them use Snake. If Capcom were to give them license, Rockman'd be an excellent choice.

And speaking of Pit and Simon and Megaman, you know who'd be sick to have as a character? Captain N. The whole team (sans Gameboy). That'd be pimp.

I also think they should put some trainers into the game and not just pokemon. Ash for example. I'm not sure what his regular attacks could be other than throwing pokeballs and maybe summoning minor pokemon, but I think that'd be neat. At least throw Team Rocket in there since they're the stars of the show.

Oh, stealth edit! As a reskin of Master Hand, do the Power Glove. This is MANDATORY.

I hope for Sonic, Knuckles and Shadow but that'd be overkill. It would be a bit silly to have Shadow as an alternative skin for Sonic as they are very different.

You can probably change the colour of their clothes or maybe add a different hat to them when you select the character, but that's probably about it.
