Am I the only one who thinks this game looks horribly bad graphic-wise? Seriously, it looked like those old 2d shooters at some points. I watched half the movie and couldn't take it anymore.

I'm not really impressed...it has physics, well so what? So does HL2 (even better physics actually), and pretty much all the new shooters coming out...
Graphics aren't that good in my opinion. Once again, HL2, Doom3, etc, are already much much better and gameplay didn't look all that innovative either...

Whatever, not my problem since I'm not gonna play it. Just wanted to know why so many people seem impressed by this game.

We've had BIG MASSIVE BRUTAL debates on this matter. The answer is: Let's just wait and watch for the final prodcut.

Isn't there a role-playing element in Stalker? This is rather innovative to a FPS.
And the enviroment is "alive".

I wouldn't say innovative, not after we've games like Ultima Underworld (which was released 14 years ago no less), Deus Ex and System Shock do the same sort of thing. I guess Stalker is just taking it to the next level.

The thing I'm still unhappy about are the floaty animations, they really need to sort them. I just know I'll cringe everytime I have to reload a gun if it's kept the same way :/

I'm not saying you are flaming anyone. I myself am no Stalker fan it's no use calling a game unspectacular judging from a few videos and screens. The final product speaks for itself. So let's just wait and watch.

HL2 is the only game love ATI. So basically is Nvidia got better chance to win over ATI ?
