Its a hell of a lot of fun, mainly with the players forcing each other to die. Its easy to be a prick, simply jump under another player to force them into pit / lava.

But great fun to play with mates.

So far - world 5 - it's been great. A clear step up from the DS version and back into Super Mario World like teritory. Multiplayer is choas, fun chaos

The skills videos. I was really interested in Fortress Forever too till I saw the official trailer that was all 'nade jumping.

It just makes me feel like I'm not getting the most out of the game until I do that ridiculous stuff.

That looks like some great fun, but it's just not in the cards for me to buy such a game for console right now. Maybe if it were for DS, or if I can get a friend to split it with me, but I doubt it. Just too many higher ranked Wii games to get. Warbie, has there been any news on SMG2 since E3?

I'm now on the second to last world and the game is getting tough. Not Lost Levels hard, but enough to fist pump the air when you make the finish line It is considerably better than NSMB on the DS and, particularly in the later levels, on par with the best 2d Mario games. Out of interest, what Wii games are you waiting on over this, Corp?

Are you kidding? I've never seen a Wii game on sale. Bastards keep their value so long. Twilight Princess is still €40 over here.

Oh, old stuff I still haven't gotten. Prime trilogy, Mad World, Okami, etc. Not to mention Steam sale games and plenty of unfinished games I still have. Frankly, I'm just not too interested in this to place it over big name console games (though your recommendation has always had a way of changing my mind). To be completely honest, I was kind of hoping all along that this game would implement some of the gravity ****ing SMG 2D gameplay. Now that would be awesome.
