New Team Fortress 2 Server

It's been a blast playing with lots of community members on our Team Fortress 2 server and it's proven to be incredibly popular. So popular in fact many of you have had to wait up to an hour just to grab a spot in it. If you are one of these people sitting in front of the console screen hitting "retry" then you'll be pleased to know there is a solution! Honoured forum member G-Dub, has gratefully provided us with a spanking new TF2 server. Like our current server it's based in the UK but holds a whopping 24 players on it so you can kill more of your friends then ever before. [br]

I'll be honest TF2 really requires a 20 - 24 man server, otherwise it's all to easy to win maps like Hydro with a couple of spies and a few scouts.

Have to agree, the spawn times are so unforgiving.

I'll vouch for this too. Great server with 24 people going at it, but there seems to be some major lag issues at random points in the game experienced by all players. People were leaving in anger pretty quickly. Not sure if something suspect is going on...

The choppiness is supposedly down to the server serving more players than it's capable of for TF2. Linux TF2 servers also run worse than MS servers, supposedly. I don't have a link but it's been discussed on the Steam forums.

Yeah, it'd run well but there would be intermittent lag spikes that seriously f*cked gameplay over for about 30 seconds every ten minutes or so.
