Hi guys. I thought I'd post this in a new thread because the only place it is mentioned right now is way way back in the offical Audio Stuttering one. Feel free to close/delete it after it gets some exposure for people not following the tail end of the offical post.
Apparently (as reported by a steam forum post), if you lauch HL2 and then ctrl-alt-delete out of it, and set the application's processor priority to 'low' instead of 'normal', it helps (but not eliminates) some audio stuttering. Other range of benifits (less load time, but graphics) have been reported but not as consistantly. This apparently works great for some but does nothing for others. Hope it helps with some of ya'lls playability issues.
