New to character studio

Complete noob question so sorry bout this I want to create and animate a character using max and character studio...i have used max before (still learning it) but not character studio. I have been told to create the model in character studio and edit it in max, but i can't actually find character studio lol. I've been told its part of Max, but where is it? Someone please put me out of my misery...

Character studio isnt a seperate program in itself , its additional bits and piece's added into max for character modelling, ie.. the physique modifier which is used for game models. If you want to start to learn howto create and rig a character, learn about bones the skin and the morpher modifier.

Oh right ok Well i've been looking around for not-too-complex tutorials on how to create the character body...i've found the joan of arc one and another, but they are still a tad complex, can anyone recommend any decent ones that a beginner can understand?
