New to CS:S, why no bots (i.e. training)

Being new to CS (yeah, yeah, what planet have I been on for the last 5 years...) I'm wondering if there is some special reason why there are no bots or training options in CS:S? Call me a pussy (lol!) but it's tough learning everything the hard way. Running around empty maps to learn them 'ain't no fun. Couldn't they just use the AI from Condition Zero? Just seems a bit odd to me...

There are bots but you have to use the cracked version. No one knows why valve left them out of their "final" product.

If you want training, go online, find someone that looks like they know what they're doing and follow them around.

How do you think people managed before there were bots?

Bots will probably appear in one of upcoming patches. But knowing Valve's politics it gonna cost you some extra money.

A good stradegy even for the experienced player ;)

Bots will be a free update later.

He said final . In no way is this the final. It's the beta with more maps. The cracked has bots? How do you know? You can play condition zero with bots if you like, same maps just look way better in css. Just imagine the people you play against are bots. Hell bots have aimbots don't know why you want to play against them?

I'd love to just make a server and show you around maps right now...but I have class to get to soon. Add me to your steam friends and message me when I come on. I'd be glad to show you the ropes and give tips. I've been playing since beta 5.something...so I'm a decent player.
