Hey, i am trying to download a something using torrent, all the websites and all the file are not downloading but just staying at zero

what's the deal?

Well, you have to make sure the torrent is "Healthy"
It needs quite a few "Seeders" Meaning people who are hosting the file for downloading.

And I'll PM you some sites you can use. Because we all know you're not downloading anything illegal, but patches for BF2 or maybe some oldschool StarCraft maps right?
*You should agree ;)*

If you're behind a firewall, you also have to open up a port to your computer.

Do you have a router/firewall? If so, you will have to open the correct port(s). Go to the options in your BitTorrent program and look for the port number it uses. It should be a 4 digit number.

Edit: Was writing while Lex posted.

Oh, and are you using a GUI? Bitlord, Bitcommet, ABC, Azereus, etc..or just the default Bittorrent client?
