Hey i'm new too this forum but I'm just wondering...My comp is a beast when it comes to speed and memory and what not BUT! i only have a Radeon X300 ;( How will half-life 2 run on this...I DO have Direct X9.

You'll be fine. Not the best card on the market by any standards, but it won't stop you from having a good experience.

yes expect the x300 will more then likely default to dx9 and be able to run the game at that.

While the Fx cards default to dx 8...
