The pics look really awesome...the problem is it´s a techdemo. I was amazed when the first techdemos of Unreal engine II were shown, but the graphics of games that actually used this engine (like UT2003 and Unreal II) didn´t impressed me anymore.

Well, the plants look really good, but the grass... dunno, they still seem to have great problems with grounds... they're always so flat.

Have you noticed that the tech pictures look about 10 times better than when you run it yourself?

The images are demonstrating the automatic generation of tree's possible in UE3 now with speedtree, they don't show what the game is gonna look like.

Anyone not impressed needs to look closer at the screenshots and just what exactly is going on in them., then go try it in another engine.

Well I do prefer TES4's over these. I know TES4 also uses a type of auto tree maker so they can work on other things.

It uses Speedtree too. I'm also pretty sure the developers of the Source game Twilight War mentioned they succesfully implemented Speedtree.

thats because the techdemo is run on unreal engine 1/2 not 3, they dont have a tech demo of that version yet that you can download
