New Unreal Engine Kotaku Exclusive

I've got a chubby from watching it. Still, not quite the raging boner I got from the first source engine videos. My friends and I experienced intense homosexual feelings from the source videos and felt the need to hump everything. It gave me sexual powers.

I can feel the intense lag just watching those videos.

Unreal Engine 3 has run flawlessly on my PC since it first started being used. Here's hoping the same for 4, considering my recent video card upgrade.

Your feeling computer sucks then.

Looks fantastic. I do wish they would have better engine workflow, more like Unity to where you don't need to export everything to a certain format, and it can work with and convert maya/max files and psds on the fly.

...and I jizzed in my pants.

Could be worse, could be Hammer!

Looks pretty damn awesome, but it still has that Ureal Engine look about it that distracts from the realism.

Motion blur is still too much. But apart from that it looks great. Need to learn this engine I think :D

I'm sure they'll add even more but imagine in just another few short years what everything will look like. I'm still hoping for a 'destroy anything' feature like Red Faction 1 had back in the day, but thats just me.

If only Frostbite 2 would come with an editor like this.

almost always fault of people(s) insisting in reusing stock assets

first Kotaku commenter makes a great point: http://deadendthrills.com/galleries/the-exiled-realm-of-arborea-tera/ is a current UDK project. Doesn't have that "unreal" look at all really.

I'm in love with Unreal Engine. This is even more awesome, and we will see that in action. Do you remember CryEngine, used only by Crytek (and a few others)?

This is just more 3, upgraded a bit

Looks rather nice, but that doesn't mean shit to me if they can't make a good game with it.

This.

I just don't give a shit about your graphics if you can't make a compelling and fun experience out of it. Gears of War SUCKED imho, but Bioshock didn't, so it is going to come down to the creativity of the developer as opposed to the power of the engine.
