Is it me or is this new update making steam run slower then a fat chick through 4 feet of mud?

Is it me or is this new update making steam run slower then a fat chick through 4 feet of mud?

I checked the content server information, it's running so slow because for some reason all the content servers are being taxed to the limit for bandwidth, it's ridiculous. I can't even update my steam copy because of the problem.

It won't last long. There were apparently actual content updates to various games, which is why all the bandwidth was needed in addition to the platform update.

Yeah, I got into Stem last night, and a few of the games had to download some stuff. It seems all the commotion has passed, and the servers are back to normal now.
