New UT2007 Details

In the new issue of PSM (Playstation Magazine), they had an interview with some people from Epic games and talked about UT2007 on PS3. Yes, they played UT2007 in real-time on PS3 running at 720p.

I'm not too excited. However if the differences and new features added are bigger than the difference between UT2k3 and UT2k4 then I will certainly consider this game, and no I won't consider graphics to be much of a new feature though. Physics I will however.

Seems a silly thing to say to me. Those guys who go to quake com with their 5ft tall custom PCs will run in better.

UT2007 is going to have hoverboards!! So now when you die, you don't have a long walk to get back to the action. It gets cooler...when you are riding it, can fire a "tow beam" and latch onto world objects and vehicles. So you can either hitch a ride or gather speed for clearing a large gap. And now get this, YOU CAN PULL OFF SSX-style tricks!!

That's pretty cool.

Only thing I don't like about the PS3 is that you will not be able to play someone elses game on you'r console. But this issue is not final yet

Just the controversy about sony's copy protect software forced them to back down for the moment..

It is a fact however that they have been granted the patent. The main reason people think it could happen is because normally a company doesn't create new patents without any intention of using them.
