New UT3 Trailer

i don't even think my PC will run it (and it's a pretty decent comp :/)

my pc is obsolete, and no way in hell i'm playing unreal on an xbox 360, so I guess I won't be playing it, unless microsoft wises up and adds mouse support. Shame though, it looks great.

play it on ps3 then, ut3 has linux support.. and keyboard and mouse

What's up with the stupid filters on that trailer? Other than that looks great.

My comp will run this and other upcoming games just fine, dual core and 8800 card biatch!

I'd be half tempted if we could play UT3 with a m&k on the PS3. A pad is a no no for games like this imo.

Yeah, I would love to get this for the PS3, but I am so terrbile with the controls on those pads for FPS titles that it would barely be worth it. Gotta practice with Resistance more I guess (or wait to hear about m/k support).

Link.

Supposedly the console versions are slowed down (i.e. not as fast) compared to the PC version.

Maybe, but I bet it runs A LOT slower on my PC than it does on my PS3. :E

Oh, what I meant was that the gameplay is going to be slower, i.e. you don't run around as fast compared to the PC. This is probably due to the control scheme for the console versions (using a pad).

By the way, my PC began to crawl while playing RoboBlitz and I don't even want to know how UT3 would look like or let alone how it'll run. PS3 ftw. :E

I was going to say, isn't the whole point of UT supposed to be the mind meltingly fast pace, hence why PC is where it's always been at. But hey at least you'll have time to catch the sights on the PS3 when turning around at 2 miles an hour :p.

Of course both version are fast-paced but it's just that they've slowed down the pace for the console versions because of the inferior controls.

Here's a noticeable speed difference between PS3 and PC.

And you don't turn the sights at 2 miles an hour, except if you have the sensitivity at 0.001 however. ;)
