New version of Hammer for Macs?

I just heard this rumor that even though they aren't making a MAC version of HL2, they will make a version of Hammer, or whatever their next tool will be to make maps. Any idea if this is true?

I'm an avid mac user, you wouldn't get it working on an old G3 iMac with any decent performance. Fake. Could be running it under emulation, something like Virtual PC. Even worse performance though
