Can anybody recommend a good game for about $40-$70 AUD?

For PC:

I don't know. Have you tried World of Warcraft? I'm not sure how well this would go down with your parents though.

Yeah I pretty much had a blank when it comes to PC, I still can't think of anything. Look at some review sites and see if there's anything that tickles your fancy.

has nebody tried Republic Commando? i played the demo.. but it was a bit buggy

battlefront is also looking pretty hot

I heard Republic Commando is pretty good. Don't get Battlefront whatever you do.

If you're going for something squad-based, I enjoyed Brothers in Arms MUCH more than Republic Commando.
