I think he meant it gave too much away what Steven Spielberg has envisoned for the story. Even if it is a remake, it is going to be different. Remember, we havent actually seen the aliens yet, so that would be a big letdown to see in a trailer on the net.

Tom Cruise has got the Hachette in hand, which was the best part on the 50's movies. I hope he chucks it at the Alien, which happened in the First Movie :naughty:

Because no one cares about some fighter pilot grunts who will attempt to take down one of the aliens and end up in a twisted ball of flaming wreck.

The above WOTW sketches are not "production sketches" - but rather were done by Kermici Farid - a professional production designer and storyboard artist from France - (worked on CRIMSON RIVERS among others) and he did these after he saw the latest trailer to satiate and make more clear sense regarding what he saw in the trailer. He is not associated with Spielberg's film, but very talented regardless.

Im from planet Earth. Im 16 years old I was not in the generation that saw the movie, read all the books, and heard the radio broadcast. I know all about the broadcast, and the books, I know nothing about the actual plot.
