newb question----How do you get warnings?

I just noticed today that I had 4 warnings, I havent done anything that could get me "warned" in the past days that I know of, do warnings go away? :cheers:

There is a time decay rate for various warnings. See the table above.

I checked the rules out and I havent violated any one of them? unless ranting out a story on a more or less ranting post (halo2 vrs. Half-Life2) is illegle. I didnt insult any one.
