Just saw this video and i must say, the game looks really nice. The shadows and lighting is nice and i love the Day-Night cycle.
I do think Sonic runs and does his dash attack a bit slow. But i'm sure Sega will fix this, they've yet to release a slow Sonic game.

Actually, I am hoping it ends up like the first Sonic Adventure. And I also hope they get rid of the whole grinding lameness.

So far, it looks really good, and I hope it ends up like that.

Check out Sonic Rush on the DS (i'm more excited about that than this version) - he doesn't look dead to me
