Nfsu2 Has Been Ripped!

Well hacker clans have struck it again... Need For Speed Underground 2 (being released the same day as Half-Life 2) has been ripped! Either this morning or late last night (to my knoledge). I saw it was released this morning. Just thought I would tell you all... but that makes Doom 3, GTA:SA, Halo 2, and now NFSU2 all ripped and released before their release date... lets hope Half Life 2 can stop that trend

It happens all the time. This isn't some recent phenomenon, it's been happening for years and years now, to pretty much every major game released.

Ye, I noticed yesturday.

If I am correct you need an internet connection to actually validate Half-Life 2 through steam. So it will be a lot harder than other games. Or at least it would hopfully take them longer to crack than it will for the release date to come up.

yea thats what I'm curious about IchI... how are the people going to try and get passed Valve's new standard about the internet. I bet they will figure out someway to get passed it. I think they will.. but if it takes them till the release date or later.. that is trully amazing

Valve was lucky getting hit a year ago. They massvily went and improved security, thus they new to massivly improve there protection.
