For some basic information:

1. PSP will have 24 Launch Titles
2. 5 Will have online play at launch (Twisted Metal, ATV Off Road, ETC)
3. PSP Can play movies converted to MPEG4 format and will also see movies released on UMD disks like Spiderman 2, Final Fantasy: Advent Children, Resident Evil 1 and 2, Total Recall, Saw, ETC!
4. PSP can play MP3's.
5. Can play Jpeg images and even has a slideshow feature and long images can be rotated to fit screen.
6. The PSP is rumored to be getting internet, TV, voice chat, ETC in a downloadable patch form later this year.
7. The graphics are about the same as the PS2. Some games look better on the PSP then on the PS2 (Whipeout Pure, ETC)
8. The PSP comes out on March 24th and will cost $250 and comes with a basic carrying case, headphone set and a 32MB memory card.

If theres anything you would like to know then feel free to ask me.

Looks pretty cool. But that guy was not good at Ridge Racer. Kind of embarrassing really.

I already have one, The PSP does not suport MPEG4 its mp4, you can get converters on the internet but it can be hard when converting files such as .mov and .ogg mainly because the converter finds it hard to read them. I am waiting for the 1GB Scandisk DUO cards to get in stock since they have just sold out everywhere. Then its a sort of IPOD/ Portable DVD player.

Oh ye and lets not forget the fact you can play games on it :P

EDIT: JUst watched the video, its a nice video. But that guy sucks at ridge racer :D

Is it a illegal psp? It didn't feel official.

EDIT: Is it released?

I think its only out in Japan. Anyway, where ever its out its not out over here is Aus. Pretty good demo, (he's not the best RR player I've ever seen) :P

But the funny thing is that he says it's going to trounce the DS without even mentioning the quality of the games available... and surely it's the games that matter. I won't be buying one, although it looks nice.

Now the DS needs to come out with a kick-ass Zelda game that'll force me to buy it.

If a game is fun play it, simple enough right?

Many people compare one systems games to another and I don't give a damn. You havn't done that but you brang up a good point, so I felt the need to say this.

an OoT port or a perfect dark port would kick ass on the DS

The only Zelda game planned for the DS is Four Sword Adventures. Which is pretty lame if you ask me. The DS only has 13 games out so far and the only one I liked was Mario. The PSP will have at lease 7 games at launch that I like. So in turn I think the PSP has and will have the best selection of games.

You didn't like WarioWare?

I don't think anyone here would be able to play RR on the PSP very well while the console was standing vertically & with a big camera like 5 inches away from the screen. The positions for the hands would be very wrong.

Wow. The visual quality of the PSP looks absolutely amazing. Oh well... i have no money to buy one anyway...

Damn, that thing looks slick. I haven't been very interested in it until recently. After seeing this video though, I want one even more. I might get one after I get my paycheck from my newly acquired job. Or I just might save it for some new computer hardware.

Yeah, I don't think sony will dethrone nintendo. This movie still hyped me up to get one!
