wooooot gunna be damn sweet. Gunna order my ticket any time now i think they where about £20.

Shame the cople of songs i have heard on the new album are so comertial, but as long as its only those cople, make abit of cash then go back to the old skool!

no it's just grand guitar ballads, focusing more on instruments than anything else.

na download a cople of songs, she sings like opra and its got pritty heavy, compex power metal type music. Tis very good and she is a great singer. They have just brought out a single in uk, and i think they are No.1 in germany

"ONCE" #1 IN GERMANY!
"ONCE" is now number one in German album chart! Congratulations, Nightwish!! Nightwish´s new album is hot also in other countries. Here is today´s situation:
FINLAND #1, GERMANY #1, NORWAY #1, GREECE #1, AUSTRIA #4, SWIZERLAND #4, NETHERLAND #11, NETHERLAND(indie charts) #3, UK #102, UK(indie charts) #6, UK(National Rockcharts)#10, FRANCE #9.

Single "Nemo" is #6 in Germany and in Hungary two different versions of Nemo are in TOP 10 -single chart!! In Portugal Nemo is #4.

I like a couple of Nightwish songs, but i'm not really into 'Opera Metal' as you call it. This genre of Metal seems to have originated in Scandanavia. "Within Temptation" are another band like this.

No wonder I like Nemo so much.

I guess it can be described as "OperaMetal" basicly they have excellent instrmentals and the singer sounds like an Opera Singer.

Wow glad to see there are other Nightwish listeners around here =] (don't read Off-Topic much ;[) Never been to a gig before (and I'm Finnish.. *shame*) the new album totally blew me away I might seriously consider seeing a concert now

(also, fyi the orchestra that performs in "Once" is from London!)
