Can anyone help me with this STUPID GAME I am stuck on level 5 (I have no health potions and if I'm lucky enough to beat the 3 raptors, I have to fight ANOTHER BOSS with no break and no extra health, which I die in seconds) can ANYONE help before I break my controller?

Haha. I got there, spent about a week trying to beat that part, and eventually couldn't take the insane difficulty anymore so I traded it in at Gamestop.

Hardest game I've ever played.

Dude, you missed out big-time for giving up on that part. Don't get me wrong, the game is insanely hard ,and yeah, the hardest game i've ever played (broke two controllers playing the game through the first time) but once you master the fighting system, its easily worth the 100 bucks (i'm Australian, so it would be 50 or something for you Americans) you pay for it.

Ok Zeus, have you upgraded your Dragon Sword to level two?
Because if you've done that, it'll be easy as pie. Just towards him and press Y (i think its Y) and it should do some kind of flying hacking slice towards the nearest tentacle. Two or three of those slices cuts off a tentacle. Do it to both of them, and then use the essence that comes from the tentacles to do a super attack and that should take off a 3rd of his health. Just keep doing that, its easy as pie.

The game was making me crazy though.

From a mental health standpoint, I think I did the right thing.
 
My brother went mental over this on the "lava" levels.
 
Tomonobu said that they're making Ninja Gaiden 2, but that won't be after the new Dead or Alive game. It's probably going to be on the Xbox 2.
 
Haha, seriously? That boss was piss easy. Now I'm stuck on Alma, and the only save point before her is really inconveniently placed :(

I've got her figured out, though, she just keeps getting lucky. And I only have 4 potions left for the fight. AWESOME GAME :D:D

Which Alma exactly? The first time, second time or third time? Because they're all pretty easy once you know what to do.

Both are very sweet :) (shame about Devil May Cry 2 :/ no. 3 looks great tho)
 
why does everybody say this game is hard? it's really not! i died 8-10 times total through my 1st playthrough on normal... just keep practicing the combat system... the oh-so-sweet combat system... and just jam the L button
 
Its hard to beginners because its fair. If you dont know the combat system, you'll die from your own lack of skill. After you've mastered the combat system, you can go through the game without dying at all.

Thats my favourite thing about the game.
 
Heheh, thought I had it down. These new soldiers after I beat first Alma are a bitch. They're easy to kill, but they're so cheap.
 
definatly a trickey game in certain spots. But like all the other peeps said... u have got to master the combat system. right now im stuck on the final helicopter boss in the military base. its being a pain in the ass. but ill eventually whoop it lol :laugh:

If you have Xbox Live, you should try the Hurricane pack.

So much harder its ridiculous.
 
God damnit, can't find a good way around the rocket soldiers. If they hit you with a rocket, by the time you get up they'll hit you with another.
 
Try and get used to using Wind Run.

Its X+A at the same time. You jump to the nearest enemies head, and if you have the Guillotine throw, press Y just as you land on them and you'll throw them. Quite useful
 
True, I haven't been using wind run. Guillotine throw is another story :D But it doesn't kill these guys instantly, and then they're just further away so they can get in another shot :(
