an article quoted France's Marketing director of Nintendo. he said that the controller is similar to a touch screen in terms of interactivity and utility. So it's not really touch screen huh?! that was contrary to the rumors that touch screen may be the Revolution's secret..

hmmm, wrong forum me thinks..but it will probably get a few more hits here..or..something.

On topic..YAY..I guess?

Where did this come from?

Someone thought the rev controller would have a touch screen?

Even I don't take things that literally.

Ok here's the quote at fault:
“The beauty of the new Revolution controller is that the possibilities for new game ideas are limitless. I'm sure that Nintendo already has a number of phenomenal design concepts built around 3D Pointing or Touch Sensitivity for their 1st party games. Our developers are inspired and excited by the new controller's features.”
- EA spokesperson, Trudy Muller

Recall the DS is going to be used as a controler much like the Advance on the Gamecube. There is no reason Nintendo would put a screen of any sort into their controller.

yeah, rumors are rumors because they come from different interpretations of the authors/readers. but i think i'll just throw a BIG question to Nintendo on the 17th. i read that Nintendo's video game designer Miyamoto will participate in a video based web-chat on the 17th. im thinkin of something that would make him stutter lol

how can you think touch sensitivity means a touch screen...

not really thought it would really be a touch screen, personnally, i did not believe it's going to be touch screen. i've read discussions whether its touch screen or just touch sensitivity, it just turned out Nintendo favored the latter

Your title was calling me. I thought it was new Zelda news, but noooo, it was simply the obvious :(
