No AA in Half life 2

I've just installed Half Life 2 and there doesn't appear to be any AA enabled. I've got 6x selected in the settings, but it doesn't look that great, and I can't see any real difference if I select AA disabled. I have an Nvidia 8800GTS graphics card with the latest drivers and I'm running Vista 32bit. Anyone know a fix?

AA works fine for me. Please note that Source isn't exactly a new graphics engine, so it's not up to par with Crysis or UT3.

6x AA is not supported by nvidia cards. use 4x AA and you will see a difference.

Ah thanks, 4x AA seems to work. For some reason, if I change the AA setting while playing it doesn't change, but if I change it before loading a saved game it works.
