But of course, if people keep asking dumb-ass questions then they won't answer them:
-"Is my computer good enough to run Half-Life2?"

Got a response from Valve today, though it wasn't really about a HL2 question.

There are, of course, a lot of things that they just aren't going to answer at this time, like MP. I'm pretty sure they are tired of answering "If j00 shot buck3t of wat3r would the w4t3r fl0w 0utzers?

Really, though, they should keep some stored answers to just paste in and send, and then maybe link to the VALVe Info Thread on these boards, it'd give them less to do with the e-mails.

Yeah, rick does answer pretty fast. I once got a mail back from him at prime time after 3 minutes.

The bigger the mail = the longer it takes to get it back answered.

I've sent one email and got a response in less than ten minutes, as has been stated through the thread it needs to be a relevant question not answered 10,000 timers already.

I have only sent one email, to gabe, and I never got a response. In retrospect it wasn't a very important question. Before I emailed I really tried hard to make sure it was relevent, it hadn't been answered before and it was as simple as possible. But no response.

I don't plan to send it again, I trust that if gabe didn't answer it the first time he had a good reason (like he was busy on a certain game). I would only email again if I had a very relevent question.

Otherwise, go nuts! :cheese:
