I haven't played HL2 in a while, but I thought I'd load it up and play again.
When I launch the game, the background scene of the intro screen menu never comes into focus. I thought I remember it becoming clear and showing a little scene of the level you're currently on. Also, the console pops up on launch (which I don't remember happening before) saying:
Game.dll loaded for "Half-Life 2"
maxplayers set to 1
Heap: 256.00 Mb
Parsed 23 text messages
execing config.cfg
Can't use cheat cvar cam_command in multiplayer, unless the server has sv_cheats set to 1.

This obviously isn't a huge problem, but I just liked having that intro screen. Any idea what the deal is? Thanks in advance!
